Bamses Venner - Lad Mig Elske Dig Igen
Bamses Venner (English: Teddy (Bear)'s Friends) is a Danish musical group that has been performing together since 1973.
Bamses Venner represented Denmark in the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest with the entry "Tænker altid på dig" (ranked 14th in 19 countries) and received 25 points.
They also recorded "Er du langsom i nat" and "I en lille båd der gynger".
In 1980, the band was composed of Flemming Jørgensen, lead vocals and bass (nicknamed "Bamse" which means "Teddy Bear"), Mogens Balle (piano/organ), Bjarne Green (guitar), and Arne Østergaard (drums). As of 2004, the band consisted of Jørgensen (vocals, bass), Peter Bødker (piano/organ/guitar), Frank Thøgersen (drums), Torben Fausø (keyboards) and Jes Kerstein (guitar). Bamses Venner sing in Danish.
Jørgensen died on January 1st, 2011, from a cardiac arrest. The rest of the band members have decided to break up after a series of planned memorial concerts.
Bamses Venner - Vimmersvej (Version 2)
R.I.P Flemming Bamse(far) Jørgensen! Du har og vil altid være hos os! Vi vil altid huske din musik! Hvis nogle hader dig... Så kan de bare gå med deres dårlige kommentar... Stem finger op hvis i synes det samme!

Candy Pin-Up Girls !! ♥♥♥
Beautiful classic pin-up girls, from really good artists like Armstrong or D'Ancona. I hope you enjoy it.
Song: Candyman - Christina Aguilera.
The girl at the end is Betty Grable, a famous and gorgeous pin-up girl.

Tommy Makem - Four Green Fields
This is the first from Tommy and in my opinion, the best version . Recorded in 1968, this was at the tail end of Tommy Makem's days with The Clancy Brothers before he went off to pursue a solo career in 1969. Forgive me for the poor quality. This was taken from an old LP, for this version does not come up on CD very often. It is available on CD on the Clancy Brothers "Luck of The Irish" compilation, but for some reason I didn't like the way it sounded remastered and all. The LP does it more justice. Most people prefer the later versions that Tommy did of this song. I still prefer this version and the version he recorded two years later in 1970 on the album "The Bard of Armagh." This 1968 recording is how I first heard this song. I was a young child and was listening to it in the back seat of my Dad's car from a mix tape he made of his favorite Irish songs. I have fond memories of this and so it's probably it's my favorite version. "Four Green Fields" is also in my top three of favorite songs of all time.
Harry Chapin - Cats in the Cradle Nonofficial Music Video
PLEASE READ BELOW...
Below I have posted some things about the video (picture slideshow rather), since some people think I took the song too literally. But before you comment anything, read some of the "clues" below.
What I was trying to do was combine what Harry was directly saying with my own understanding of the song.
Clue 1: In most of the video, the pictures are shown zooming in...and then out...and then in again, etc. This was to show a metaphoric cradle rocking; the father thinking he is doing the right thing.
Clue 2: Many people have a problem with the video really showing a cat. However, it isn't all that literal:
The first time Harry says "...and the cats in the cradle...", it shows a cat in a cradle...but each time the line is said, the cat will change. This is to show how time is passing by and how things change. Then it shows a sliver spoon ("...and the silver spoon..."). But when this is repeated, the spoon will have a fork next to it, and then a knife. This is to show age and maturity in the boy. The very last spoon in the video is meant to look old...to show again the time that has passed by.
"...little boy blue..." With that line, it starts with a blue man, then to a blue room, then to a blue car, and then to a blue house...this is to show, again, age and ,maturity.
"...and the man on the moon...", with this line it starts with a toy man sitting on the moon, to a real photo of the moon, to a man landing on the moon, and then to what the future of the moon might look like. No it's not about the moon, it was trying to explain how the boy is, again, getting older, and learning more and more as he gets older.
"...when you coming home, son, I don't know when, but we'll have a good time then..." This also changes...from the shots of a park, to a shot of a baseball game (which ties into the song since the father bought the kid a baseball), and then to the city. This was to show the boy's interest and how he (again) gets older. The last time it is said, however, it shows the house with a slow zoom on it...and then it fades to a gate with a lock on it. The old locked gate is like time...you can't go backwards.
Clue 3: If you all noticed, the video often showed a clock, but this was by no means random...the first clock showed "10 O'clock" before it says "...my son turned ten just the other day..." this again was not only meant to match the words directly, but to show that time begins to fly by. The next clock shows that the boy is in his 20's since Harry says "...well he came from college just the other day..." and the next clock after that does not only match the words, but the numbers are also scattered showing it is too late for the father to make up.
Clue 4: At the start of this video, as well as at the end, it is clears that it starts out in space and zooms in on Earth. (Zooming out at the end). This was to show how small we are...but how meaningful something so small could be.
Clue 5: If you noticed, the pictures to beat ratio at the VERY end is slightly off...it is as if the pictures is ahead of the song. This is to show time catching up to present day.
Clue 6: When Harry says things like "Sliver spoon" and "Little boy blue and the man on the moon"...those are nursery rhymes. The video does give hints that follow them, but they aren't very clear.
There are some other things, but I think I got everything important.
For those of you who are ready to say this song doesn't need a description, you are right...it is a GREAT classic. However, as I said before, this is a description of the video to show what I put into it because I am tired of people saying I didn't put much thought into it.
Oh, and if you are reading this right now, PLEASE leave a comment telling me what you think of what I did. Thank you.
Last thing: At the time this video was made, I only had Windows Movies Maker. I also didn't have any money at all, so all I did was search the web for pictures, and made this. It was made in one day of non-stop work. Throw in a slow computer, and you will understand. It didn't come out perfect, and I REALLY wanted to do a live-action, trust me, but not everyone is rich, and I was 14 when I made this. It is far from perfect, and I really wish it was better, but this is it...if it isn't good enough for you, MAKE YOUR OWN.
UPDATE - 9-24-09
100,000 VIDEO VIEWS! Thank you so much everyone! :)
UPDATE: 1-26-11
Just a quick little fact: I think it's safe to say this is the most popular fan-made music video for Cats in the Cradle on youtube...maybe the web, and I wish to thank everyone who made that possible!^^

****************************************************************************
"Glory of Love" is a 1986 Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit song written by Peter Cetera, David Foster and Cetera's wife at the time, Diane Nini, and recorded by Cetera shortly after he left the band Chicago to pursue a solo career. The song was Cetera's first hit single and was included on his 1986 album, Solitude/Solitaire.
The single peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart on August 2, 1986, remaining in that spot for two weeks. It also spent five weeks atop the U.S. adult contemporary chart.[1] The song achieved similar success in the UK, peaking at number three on the UK Singles Chart, where it was the 26th best-selling single of 1986.
The version of the song as released as a single and on Cetera's album Solitude/Solitare is edited, missing the beginning eight-second section of the song's bridge (which is heard in the actual Karate Kid II film).
The song earned nominations in 1986 for an Academy Award for Best Song and a Golden Globe in the category of Best Original Song. It was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 1987 for "Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Male Artist."
It went on to win an ASCAP Award for "Most Performed Songs from Motion Pictures" and a BMI Film & TV Award for "Most Performed Song from a Film."

Heaven Was Needing A Hero - fallen soldier tribute
This was made in memory of all those lost in war both past and present. I hope this video touches everyone who has lost someone in their lives. It's not only a tribute to those who put their lives on the line each and every day for we as a people, it's also for all the sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, grandfathers and grandmothers and our friends that were taken from us too soon. May their memory live on in our hearts for all time. If you've lost a loved one feel free to leave a tribute to them in the comments. Here's to all the heroes in heaven. May your memory never be forgotten.
Song is sung by Jo Dee Messina... lyrics below...
I came by today to see you
I just had to let you know
If I knew the last time that I held you was the last time
I'd have held you, and never let go
Oh, it's kept me awake nights, wondering
I lie in the dark, just asking why
I've always been told
You won't be called home
Until it's your time
I guess heaven was needing a hero
Somebody just like you
Brave enough to stand up
For what you believe
And follow it through
When I try to make it make sense in my mind
The only conclusion I come to
Is heaven was needing a hero
Like you
I remember the last time I saw you
Oh, you held your head up proud
I laughed inside
When I saw how you were standing out in the crowd
Your such a part of who I am
Now that part will just be void
No matter how much I need you now
Heaven needed you more
Cause heaven was needing a hero
Somebody just like you
Brave enough to stand up
For what you believe
And follow it through
When I try to make it make sense in my mind
The only conclusion I come to
Is heaven was needing a hero
Like you
Is Heaven was needing a hero
and that's you

3/9/2012 - TO THE DAY, TO THE HOUR = One year ago 7.2M west Pacific ( Japan )
I hope this is not a repeat -- last year -- one year ago to the day and TO THE HOUR roughly 1am CST on 3/9/2011 a 7.2M struck the W. Pacific in Japan...
Move forward one year .. and at approx 1am CST on 3/9/2012 a 7.1M struck the W. Pacific near Vanuatu.
The global earthquake swarm MATCHES last years movement (only a bit greater)..
Below -- see my video from LAST YEAR.. .same date and same time video shot as this video today.. approx 130am CST !!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hG87v9-ROfw&feature=plcp&context=C4343...
Again, lets hope we do NOT see a repeat of last year -- but the volcano activity matches last years unrest .. and the earthquakes actually show a bit MORE than last year... so we should be ON ALERT at this point for a repeat event ...... JUST IN CASE.....
Pacific Ring of fire should be ready and waiting for it.. anywhere from Japan / Kuril Islands.. south through Philippines, all the way south through Vanuatu .. into New Zealand.
West Coast Americas -- Washington State, British Columbia Canada, Oregon, California, Mexico (baja south through mexico city along the pacific coast into Columbia)...
Then further south along the south american coast .. Chile .. Peru .. EAST of the ocean but WEST of the mountains in the thin strip of land along the shore.
North America = Craton edge.. watch the states along the edge of the plate .. see my blog post for the areas to watch: http://sincedutch.wordpress.com/2012/03/09/392012-7-1-magnitude-earthquake-in...
Europe.. this includes Greece, Italy, South Spain, north through France along the east side of UK in the english channel.. also eastern and central Europe -- Poland / Switzerland / France / Germany.
India, near the Himalayas mountain range .. up @ the border of China/Russia.
All in all.. this 7.1 in Vanuatu today is a very troublesome development -- I really wish it wouldn't have happened to the DAY AND HOUR of last years large earthquake precursor in Japan --- this makes me think a cycle might be at play. West Pacific would be the place to watch if the pattern is a real one.
IF a large earthquake hits in the next few days -- countries around the effected area should be prepared in case it is an ocean based earthquake.. and if the earthquake occurs in an area like the New Madrid Seismic Zone (recent plumes appearing)... then have your appropriate food, water, transportation, communications, self defense, and shelter plans taken care of !
Today is a good day to start if you haven't already built your 'bug out bag' ...
Tomorrow at some point, I will show my preparations (mobile setup in the car for a quick mobile bugout) and my shelter in place plans in case I am unable to leave the area.
Cheers, be safe.. and remember.. don't be scared.. BE PREPARED !!!

Marilyn Monroe: The sex symbol The Woman The actress
Marilyn Monroe (stage name of Norma Jean Baker) was born in Los Angeles in 1926.
Her artistic career began very early, when in 1945 took her first steps as a model.
In 1948 the first film in which she participated was "Scudda Hoo! Scudda Hay!" where her part in many point was cut in the editing phase. Those were the years when the image of Marilyn was starting to get noticed with her pictures and thanks a famous calendar.
The photographer Tom Kelley in 1949, portrays naked Marilyn.
No vulgarity! Her was an innocent and unique beauty.
Three years later, when a blackmailer threatened to go public with the affair, the same Monroe admitted that she was in that calendar and that she had made this for a desperate need for money. At the time was not yet known to the general public.
Between 1950 and 1952 increased her roles in the movie.
"The Asphalt Jungle", "All about Eve", "The Fireball", "Hometown Story", "As Young as You Feel", "Clash by Night", some of her films.
In "Clash by Night", for the first time the name of Marilyn Monroe appeared in the film poster.
Some films of 1952 as "We're Not Married", "Don't Bother to Knock" and "Monkey Business" increased her fame.
1953 was the year of the consecration. Although, was not well received by critics, the film "Niagara", was characterized by the presence of Monroe, who played an evil character.
In the musical "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes", is the antagonist of the brunette Jane Russell.
In the romantic comedy "How to Marry a Millionaire, plays the role of a mannequin with Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable.
In 1955 Billy Wilder chose her for one of the most famous comedies:
"The Seven Year Itch". A great success for the film, the director and for the same Monroe. But Marilyn had wanted to become a better actress, and so he decided to move to New York and attend the Actors Studio. She was tired of sex roles.
Darryl F. Zanuck (producer), did signed a contract to Marilyn, from which she can personally choose the director.
In "Bus Stop", plays the role of singer Cherie, getting her first Golden Globe nomination. But most striking was the criticism of Time, which said that Monroe in this film proves to be an actress.
Thanks to the new collaboration with Billy Wilder Marilyn gave her greatest performance in the masterpiece "Some Like it Hot" with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. The character of Sugar Kandiski did win the Golden Globe.
The critics praised Marilyn and Variety declares that no other can overcome the actress in this mixture of her own rhythm and sex-appeal. Despite this, the Academy Award in all these years was distracted enough to not even give her an Oscar nomination.
Her last film was "The Misfits" by John Huston, screenplay by Arthur Miller, whom she had just divorced.
Will remain forever unfinished "Something's Got to Give", a film that was to be the remake of "My Favorite Wife".
The last image is of a beautiful Marilyn as she leaves the pool.
She died in Los Angeles in August 1962.
There are many features of Marilyn, sexy, charming, innocent, child, fickle, in need of love, delicate.
A mixture which has created the myth that MM distance of 50 years after her death remains indelible in the collective.
Films in this video:
- Niagara
- Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
- How to Marry a Millionaire
- River of No Return
- The Seven Year Itch
- Bus Stop
- The Prince and the Showgirl
- Some Like It Hot
- Let's Make Love
- The Misfits
Song for this tribute is "One Moment in Time" by Whitney Houston.

Inka Spirit - Elder's Honor Song
As an indigenous urban culture today Incas in South America is named. Often, as only the respective ruling Inca people of this culture are known. They ruled between the 13th and 16 Century on a far-spanning empire of over 200 ethnic groups, [1], showed a high degree of organization. At its greatest extent (approximately 950,000 km ²), his influence stretched from present-day Ecuador to Chile and Argentina, a region whose size is greater than the distance between the North Cape and Sicily. Developmentally, the Incas with the Bronze Age cultures of Eurasia are comparable. The ritual, administrative and cultural center was the capital of Cuzco (Cusco) in the high mountains of Peru.
Originally, the term "Inca" is the name of a tribe, who came to his own view of the sun god Inti Cusco and the surrounding area populated meant. His ruling clan later served as nobility of the same theocratic empire. From it also recruited the clergy [2] and the officers of the Inca army. Sapa Inca ('the only Inca ") was the title of the Inca ruler of Tawantinsuyu (" Land of the four parts, Reich of the four quarters of the world "- as the self-designation of the Empire).

After their Taylor Swift Coldplay mash-up, lots of people wanted more song combos. This led them to the creation of a cool hip hop/classical mash-up, but again they could not get permission. Instead of scrapping the great ideas, they used them to create an original tune. You will hear influences and inspiration from other artists. Try and guess them.
On the recording, Steven Sharp Nelson laid down over 100 tracks including cello textures never known possible. Every single sound on the video was made using only the instruments shown: piano, cello, mouth percussion and kick drum. They utilized some cool effects on lots of stuff...for example the U2-style delay on Steve's pizzicato at the beginning.
The extra string on the electric cellos (the black cello has an extra high string and the white cello has an extra low string) allowed them to cover the full range of the orchestra. The deep bass drum sound is a bump on the body of the cello with a little help from some effects. The shaker sound was created by Steve rubbing rosin on his bow. The record scratch is Steve scratching a quarter on the strings...you get the idea.
"Special SPECIAL thanks to Paul Anderson and Tel Stewart "The Piano Guys" who put as much of themselves into the video as we did and without whom the video would never have happened." (please "Like" them on facebook, they are awesome!!!) http://www.facebook.com/PianoGuys

Bruce Lee- Ping Pong (Full Version)
To promote a cell phone from Nokia, a Bruce Lee look-a-like was sponsored by Nokia in a Ping Pong tournament. But as a twist, he plays with his nunchucks.
Surprisingly, many people believe this to be The real BRUCE LEE! For starters, NOKIA cell phones were not around prior to the legendary master's untimely death. Just a friendly FYI! ;-P
