Creed - One
"One" is a song composed by the rock band Creed. From their 1997 album My Own Prison, it describes the lack of unity in modern society and includes a criticism of affirmative action. It was the band's fourth single. It was also included as a B-Side on the maxi single for their song "With Arms Wide Open".
"One" was released as the last single from the band's debut album My Own Prison in early 1999, and was arguably the most successful single from the album, peaking at #49 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart. "One" was also the only song off Creed's first album that charted on the Billboard Hot 100, charting at number 70. It is one of Creed's highest charting rock singles as well, reaching high chart positions on both the U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks and the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks charts, rising to number 2 on both, and becoming one of their all-time most successful singles on the Modern Rock Tracks where it spent a total of 31 weeks. This song was used as WWE superstar Ricky Steamboat's entrance theme in 2006 and 2007 RAW Live Events.

"Alicia Keys If I Ain't Got You with Lyrics by Jr the best voice shes amazing a true talented girl shes got it all now her husband a kid..she deserve s it all amazing person great spirit shes kind and a nice person with her feet on the floor amazing and beautiful."
-Jr
"If I Ain't Got You"
Some people live for the fortune
Some people live just for the fame
Some people live for the power, yeah
Some people live just to play the game
Some people think that the physical things
Define what's within
And I've been there before
But that life's a bore
So full of the superficial
[Chorus:]
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, Yeah
Some people search for a fountain
That promises forever young
Some people need three dozen roses
And that's the only way to prove you love them
Hand me the world on a silver platter
And what good would it be
With no one to share
With no one who truly cares for me
[Chorus:]
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, you, you
Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, yeah
[Outro:]
If I ain't got you with me baby
So nothing in this whole wide world don't mean a thing
If I ain't got you with me baby
ELVIS PRESLEY - So High ( with spanish subtitles )
So high (1966)
Recorded: RCA Studios Nashville May 27, 1966
LP: "How great thou art" March 1967
So High
Words & Music: Arranged by Elvis Presley
Well, He's so high (so high you can't get over Him)
So wide (so wide you can't get around Him)
So low (so low you can't get under Him)
Great God Almighty (you must come in at the door)
Oh well, He's high (so high you can't get over Him)
He's wide (so wide you can't get around Him)
Mmm so low (so low you can't get under Him)
The Mighty Lamb (you must come in at the door)
Well I went down in the valley
You know I did over there ever stay
My soul got happy in the valley
You know I stayed right there all day
Well, He's high (so high you can't get over Him)
And He's wide (so wide you can't get around Him)
I know He's so low (so low you can't get under Him)
The Mighty Lamb (you must come in at the door)
Well I ain't been to Heaven but I'm, I'm told
The streets the streets are pearls
You know the mighty mighty
Mighty gates are gold
And He's high (so high you can't get over Him)
So wide (so wide you can't get around Him)
He's so low (so low you can't get under Him)
The Mighty Lamb (you must come in at the door)
Well, He's high (so high you can't get over Him)
And He's wide (so wide you can't get around Him)
I know He's so low (so low you can't get under Him)
The Mighty Lamb (you must come in at the door)

Extreme Cheapo Tripod Test (feat. Gitzo tripod)
A lot of people want to know whether a cheap tripod can offer up the same benefits as something a bit pricier. After all, they all have 3 legs, so why shouldn't it? We put a selection of cheapo tripods to the test to see how well the compare to, say, a Gitzo tripod.

Nikon D800 D-Movies - Through The Lens
Multi-Area Mode Full HD D-Movie -- Recording Movies Using One Of Two Formats
The D800 records movies with superior resolution through optimal information processing acquired from the 36.3-million pixel image sensor. Users can record 1920 × 1080p/30-fps full-HD movies using either the FX-based movie format or the DX-based movie format according to shooting conditions. The FX-based movie format offers a shallow depth-of-field with an emphasis on blur characteristics, while the DX-based movie format brings subjects closer when lenses with short focal lengths are used.
The camera is also equipped with a headphone jack and supports precise adjustment of microphone sensitivity. In addition, users can play back movies or view the live recording of movies simultaneously via the camera's monitor and on an external monitor. The D800 also responds to the needs of professionals who require uncompressed movie files; professional users can link the movie live view mode to an external HDMI monitor, as well as record movies simultaneously onto an external device via the HDMI link.
Nikon's newest digital SLR camera also features a time-lapse photography function that captures images at a selected interval and then combines the images to create a time-lapse movie. A time-lapse movie shows the changes in a particular scene that occur over time.

Dr. Hook - Better Love Next Time (The Broken Heart Video) HD
A broken heart (or heartbreak) is a common metaphor used to describe the intense emotional pain or suffering one feels after losing a loved one, whether through death, divorce, breakup, physical separation, or romantic rejection.
Heartbreak is usually associated with losing a family member or spouse, though losing a parent, child, pet, lover or close friend can all "break one's heart", and it is frequently experienced during grief and bereavement. The phrase refers to the physical pain one may feel in the chest as a result of the loss, although it also by extension includes the emotional trauma of loss even where it is not experienced as somatic pain. Although "heartbreak" ordinarily does not imply any physical defect in the heart, there is a condition known as "broken heart syndrome" or Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, where a traumatising incident triggers the brain to distribute chemicals that weaken heart tissue.
For many people having a broken heart is something that may not be recognized at first, as it takes time for an emotional or physical loss to be fully acknowledged. As Jeffrey Moussaieff Masson states: Human beings are not always aware of what they are feeling. Like animals, they may not be able to put their feelings into words. This does not mean they have no feelings. Sigmund Freud once speculated that a man could be in love with a woman for six years and not know it until many years later. Such a man, with all the goodwill in the world, could not have verbalized what he did not know. He had the feelings, but he did not know about them. It may sound like a paradox — paradoxical because when we think of a feeling, we think of something that we are consciously aware of feeling. As Freud put it in his 1915 article The Unconscious: "It is surely of the essence of an emotion that we should be aware of it. Yet it is beyond question that we can 'know' feelings that we do not know about.

Toad The Wet Sprocket - All I Want - HD
Toad the Wet Sprocket is an American alternative rock band formed in 1986. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss. The band enjoyed chart success in the 1990s with the singles "Walk on the Ocean", "All I Want", "Something's Always Wrong", and "Fall Down", among others. The band broke up in 1998 to pursue other projects but in 2006 began touring the United States as a band in small-venue, short-run tours each summer. In December 2010, the band announced their official reunion as a full-time working band and have started writing songs for their first new studio album since their 1997 Columbia Records release Coil.
Toad the Wet Sprocket took its name from a Monty Python comedy sketch called "Rock Notes" (performed by Eric Idle on Monty Python's Contractual Obligation Album), in which a journalist delivers a nonsensical music news report: Rex Stardust, lead electric triangle with Toad the Wet Sprocket, has had to have an elbow removed following their recent successful worldwide tour of Finland. Flamboyant ambidextrous Rex apparently fell off the back of a motorcycle.
As their first gig approached, the band still had not chosen a name. The members facetiously adopted "Toad the Wet Sprocket" because they thought it would be "hilarious". Vocalist Glen Philips later called it "a joke that went on too long", and, according to their website, "it was probably meant to be temporary at the time".
At the 1999 performance Eric Idle Sings Monty Python, Idle reflected on the name's usage: I once wrote a sketch about rock musicians and I was trying to think of a name that would be so silly nobody would ever use it, or dream it could ever be used. So I wrote the words "Toad the Wet Sprocket". And a few years later, I was driving along the freeway in L.A., and a song came on the radio, and the DJ said, "that was by Toad the Wet Sprocket", and I nearly drove off the freeway.
Bessie Smith - Reckless Blues (historical photos slideshow) HD
Bessie Smith (April 15, 1894 -- September 26, 1937) was an American blues singer.
Nicknamed The Empress of the Blues, Smith was the most popular female blues singer of the 1920s and 1930s. She is often regarded as one of the greatest singers of her era and, along with Louis Armstrong, a major influence on subsequent jazz vocalists.
The 1900 census indicates that Bessie Smith was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in July 1892. However, the 1910 census recorded her birthday as April 15, 1894, a date that appears on all subsequent documents and was observed by the entire Smith family. Census data also contributes to controversy about the size of her family. The 1870 and 1880 censuses report three older half-siblings, while later interviews with Smith's family and contemporaries did not include these individuals among her siblings.
Bessie Smith was the daughter of Laura (née Owens) and William Smith. William Smith was a laborer and part-time Baptist preacher (he was listed in the 1870 census as a "minister of the gospel", in Moulton, Lawrence, Alabama.) He died before his daughter could remember him. By the time she was nine, she had lost her mother and a brother as well. Her older sister Viola took charge of caring for her siblings.
To earn money for their impoverished household, Bessie Smith and her brother Andrew began busking on the streets of Chattanooga as a duo: she singing and dancing, he accompanying her on guitar. Their favorite location was in front of the White Elephant Saloon at Thirteenth and Elm streets in the heart of the city's African-American community.
In 1904, her oldest brother, Clarence, covertly left home by joining a small traveling troupe owned by Moses Stokes. "If Bessie had been old enough, she would have gone with him," said Clarence's widow, Maud. "That's why he left without telling her, but Clarence told me she was ready, even then. Of course, she was only a child."
In 1912, Clarence returned to Chattanooga with the Stokes troupe. He arranged for its managers, Lonnie and Cora Fisher, to give Smith an audition. She was hired as a dancer rather than a singer, because the company also included the unknown singer, Ma Rainey. Smith eventually moved on to performing in various chorus lines, making the "81" Theater in Atlanta her home base. There were times when she worked in shows on the black-owned T.O.B.A Theater Owners Booking Association circuit. She would rise to become its biggest star after signing with Columbia Records.
By 1923, when she began her recording career, Smith had taken up residence in Philadelphia. There she met and fell in love with Jack Gee, a security guard whom she married on June 7, 1923, just as her first record was released. During the marriage—a stormy one, with infidelity on both sides—Smith became the highest paid black entertainer of the day, heading her own shows, which sometimes featured as many as 40 troupers, and touring in her own railroad car. Gee was impressed by the money, but never adjusted to show business life, or to Smith's bisexuality. In 1929, when she learned of his affair with another singer, Gertrude Saunders, Bessie Smith ended the relationship, although neither of them sought a divorce.
Smith eventually found a common-law husband in an old friend, Richard Morgan, who was Lionel Hampton's uncle and the antithesis of her husband. She stayed with him until her death.
