Officer Rescues Disabled Lily Bandak from Burning Home
SAN CARLOS - March 27, 2012 - A veteran SDPD officer and two good samaritans are heroes tonight after helping rescue a woman paralyzed from the neck down, who was trapped inside her burning home. The officer's name is Diana Hodges. Two neighbors also helped, including Gary Cameron and his father. The fire was reported around 1am, and quickly spread before firefighters could arrive. Everyone was able to get out of the home except a disabled woman. Lily Bandak, a world-renown photographer known for her work in the middle-east and throughout the United States, travels promoting independence for people with multiple sclerosis. Some of her photos are even in the White House. Her photos and negatives were all stored in a filing cabinet in her garage, which completely burned, destroying decades of memories. Her wheelchair lift van (easily $40k+) was also destroyed by the fire, but her motorized wheelchair was saved. The fire caused an estimated $150,000+ in property damage. The Red Cross came out to assist the family.

Joan Jett (born Joan Marie Larkin; September 22, 1958) is an American rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer and actress.
She is best known for her work with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts including their hit cover "I Love Rock 'n' Roll", which was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 from March 20 to May 1, 1982, as well as for their other popular recordings including "Crimson and Clover", "I Hate Myself for Loving You", "Do You Want to Touch Me", "Light of Day", "Love Is All Around", "Bad Reputation", and "Little Liar".
Her musical and songwriting approach is heavily influenced by the hard-edged, hard beat-driven rhythms common to many rock bands of her native Philadelphia, often featuring lyrics surrounding themes of lost love, criticisms of insincerity, the quest for authenticity, as well as the struggles and resolutions of the American middle class. She has three albums that have been certified Platinum or Gold, and she has been referred to as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll" many times during her career.

Before discovering her passion for Pole Dancing Felix trained extensively as a dancer firstly in Perth, WA from the age of 11 until the age of 15. She then moved to London to complete her studies in dance, where she trained intensely in many forms of dance, predominantly in contemporary and classical dance. She has had experience performing with professional contemporary and classical dance companies, working in many different venues including theatres in and around London. Whist in London Felix also worked in television and film.
In January 2006 Felix started pole dancing lessons at Bobbi's Pole Studio in Perth WA. In September of that year she won the WA heat of Miss Pole Dance Australia and later in November 2006 went on compete in the National Championships competition held in Sydney. After pole dancing for only 8 months she was able to win the title of Miss Pole Dance Australia 2006.
In 2007 Felix was selected as one of a panel of 3 judges brought together to adjudicate the 2007 Miss Pole Dance Australia Championships. The rules of Miss Pole Dance Australia state that the winner of the previous year cannot enter the competition, Felix has been eagerly training to enter the competition again in 2008.
She is currently residing in Perth where she teaches pole dancing at Bobbi's Pole Studio in Bicton and performs pole dancing displays regularly at The Voodoo Lounge and Connections Nightclub (both in Northbridge). She also works exclusively for the performance agency Perth Stripper.
Felix was recently voted Best Female Entertainer at the 2007/2008 Striptease Artist Recognition (STAR) Awards and won the presteigous title of Hustler Miss Centerfold Oceania 2007/2008 mid last year.
donna summer - bad girls
"Bad Girls" is a 1979 single released by American singer Donna Summer, co-written by Summer and the Brooklyn Dreams. The inspiration for her to write the song came after one of her assistants was offended by a police officer who thought she was a street prostitute. A rough version of the song had originally been written a couple of years before its release. Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart, upon hearing it, wanted Donna to give it to Cher for her upcoming album. Donna refused and put it away for a couple of years.
The song became a number-one hit on the Billboard pop, R&B and dance singles charts simultaneously becoming, alongside "Hot Stuff", her most successful single. The song helped the album of the same name to reach the multi-platinum status in the United States. A 12" single of the song was released as a medley with "Hot Stuff". Although "Hot Stuff" was extended for the 12" single, "Bad Girls" remained in the 4:55 album version. A "Bad Girls" 12" single with a time of 6:55 was produced but never released commercially. A demo version of the song was released on the "Deluxe Edition" of the "Bad Girls" CD.
