Mazzy Star - Flowers In December

Mazzy Star - Flowers In December (Official Video)

 LYRICS:
Before I let you down again,
I just want to see you in your eyes.
I wouldn't have taken everything out on you,
I only thought you could understand.

They say every man goes blind in his heart,
And they say everybody steals somebody's heart away.
And I got nothing more to say about it
Nothing more than you would me.

Send me your flowers of your december,
Send me your dreams of your candied wine.
I've got just one thing I can't give you...
Just one more thing of mine

They say every man goes blind in his heart
And they say everybody steals somebody's heart away
And I've been wondering why you let me down
And I've been taking it all for granted

Spotlight on Tivoli Gardens - Copenhagen, Denmark

Europe's most famous amusement park is Tivoli Gardens. You pay one admission price and find yourself lost in a Hans Christian Andersen wonderland of rides, restaurants, games, marching bands, roulette wheels, and funny mirrors. It's a children's fantasyland midday, but it becomes more adult-oriented later on. Since it's across from the train station, if you're catching an overnight train, this is the place to spend your last Copenhagen hours. I simply love this song.

While I was trying to think of what to do next, this tune popped into my life again and it seemed like a nice fit for a little live music.

Hope you have a fraction of the enjoyment watching it as we did making it!

Thanks W.G. Snuffy Walden, Jake Coco, and Julien Garros for being YOU and making this happen with me!

(Produced by Jake Coco and W.G. Snuffy Walden; recorded at Taylor Made Studios.)

Also - my new EP, "Push Play," will be out this month!
Hope you'll check it out!

Screamin Jay Hawkins - I Put A Spell On You

Journey - Wheel In The Sky - HD

"Wheel In The Sky"

Winter is here again oh Lord,
Haven't been home in a year or more
I hope she holds on a little longer
Sent a letter on a long summer day
Made of silver, not of clay
I've been runnin' down this dusty road

[Chorus:]
Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin'
I don't know where I'll be tomorrow
Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin'

I've been trying to make it home
Got to make it before too long
I can't take this very much longer
I'm stranded in the sleet and rain
Don't think I'm ever gonna make it home again
The mornin' sun is risin'
It's kissing the day

[Chorus]

Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin'
I don't know where I'll be tomorrow
Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin'

According to the liner notes of Journey's Time3 compilation, this started out as a poem called "Wheels In My Mind" by Diane Valory, the wife of Journey bassist Ross Valory. Robert Fleischman, the band's first vocalist, wrote new lyrics, and guitarist Neal Schon wrote the melody on acoustic guitar in the back seat of a station wagon while the band was driving between shows.

This was the second Top 100 song from the first Journey album featuring their new lead singer Steve Perry. The song was already written when Perry joined the band, but he put his own signature to it. This song, along with "Lights," which Perry did co-write, finally put Journey on the radio and on their way to Stadium Rock stardom in the '80s.

Emily Landis - What Are You Doin For The Rest Of My Life?

Well I found you a few months ago
And honestly I didn't know
that strangers could become inseparable
now everywhere I go I think of you
and find in everything I do
that I would rather be with you
So as the time is passin by I sit here and I
Wonder why you ever have to go,
You never have to go

What are you doin for the rest of my, the rest of my life?
I won't settle for anyone else, and if that makes me selfish I don't mind
If I could lay here all the time with you and watch the sunlight sinkin through the blinds you hold me tight
What are you doin for the rest of my, the rest of my life?

And now we're sayin goodbye on my porch
I never knew that time would put me in the position
To say goodbye to my best friend
I hope that sometimes I still cross your mind
I know you're on mine all the time
Why did you have to go?
Baby you don't have to go

As the tears run down my face
I watch you from the window pane
Your car is drivin up the street
Our time together bittersweet
I won't forget the way you cared
Your loving heart with me you shared
So as we go our separate ways
I wonder maybe if someday
Fate might send you back my way
