Taylor Davis - Wide Awake (violin cover)

"Hey everyone! I haven't done much with pop/rock music yet on my channel, but it's definitely a genre that I really enjoy experimenting with. I really love this melody so I thought I'd share my rendition of it to see what you think :) For the arrangement, I made the backtrack on the computer, and then recorded a total of 8 separate violin/electric violin parts to fill in with harmonies and rhythms.

The video style is obviously much different than anything else I have on my channel, so I'm interested to see what you guys think of it :) The video was taken by someone in my family (who had never operated a digital camera before so that's why it's so shaky haha) and then edited by me. We filmed for about 40 minutes before it got way too hot out and we started melting lol. I'd like to hear what you guys think of this style of video, and if you'd like me to try more like this. Even though the editing process was difficult for me, I had a lot of fun trying this out and I think it's at least an improvement from the room I normally record in ;) Hope you like it!"
